The miscellanous files contain a variety of materials relating to libraries in the state. Included are a list of state literary award winners from 1957 to 1973 by the state library association; lists of notable books for 1960 as determined by the national association; memoranda from directors about interpretations of minumum wage provisions for library employees, announcements of new services (an automated circulation system) and new staff members; Christmas cards, one of which displays unidentified photographs of staff members as ornaments on a Christmas tree; etc. The bulk of the material would be useful to public libraries in their administrative or reference functions.
